The Mother Tree
Smoke! There was smoke in our class. It came from the forest. Tiger said; "The forest is in fire.
What will happen to our sparrows and Neem tree? Let's read the story.
Passage (page 52)
Smoke... ! Clouds of smoke.
Where is it coming from?
What is happening there?
Mother sparrow looked around.
Parrots are flying away in fear.
Animals are running here and there.
Eagles are screaming and moving around in the sky.
Fire.. ! Fire.. !
Mother sparrow heard the cry of birds and animals.
(smoke - പുക, fire - തീ)
We watched the video of spread of wildfire in the forest. We also saw how the eagle flies.
Spot the word
Akash sir shown three word cards and asked us to find out it from the passage.

Then we watched the picture from text book. Rabbit, snake, parrots, monkeys and elephants are there in the picture. We made some simple sentences.
