Materials needed : a glass tumbler , water , mud blocks .
Procedure: Take enough water in the glass tumbler . Put one or two mud blocks into the water . The mud blocks should be completely sink in the water . Observe it .
Observation : Air bubbles are coming up from the soil block .
Inference :- There were pores [ സുഷിരങ്ങൾ ] inside the soil block . The air present in the pores . When water enters , air in the mud block does not have space to remain there . Then , it comes out in the form of bubbles .
ലക്‌ഷ്യം :- മണ്ണിൽ വായുവുണ്ടോ എന്നറിയുന്നതിന്.
ആവശ്യമായ സാധനങ്ങൾ :- ഗ്ലാസ്, വെള്ളം, ഉണങ്ങിയ മൺകട്ടകൾ
പ്രവർത്തനം :- ഗ്ലാസിൽ പകുതിഭാഗം വെള്ളം നിറയ്‌ക്കുക. ഉണങ്ങിയ രണ്ടു മൺകട്ടകൾ ഗ്ലാസിലെ വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഇടുക. നിരീക്ഷിക്കുക..
നിരീക്ഷണഫലം :- കുമിളകൾ ഉയർന്നു പൊങ്ങുന്നു.
നിഗമനം :- മൺകട്ടയിൽ വായുവിന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യമുണ്ട്. മൺകട്ട വെള്ളത്തിലേക്ക് വീഴുമ്പോൾ അതിലേക്ക് ജലം അരിച്ചിറങ്ങുന്നു. അപ്പോൾ വായുവിന് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യാൻ സ്ഥലമില്ലാതെ വരുന്നു. വായു കുമിളകളായി പുറത്തേയ്ക്ക് വരുന്നു.
