Phases of Moon [ചന്ദ്രന്റെ വൃദ്ധിക്ഷയങ്ങൾ ]

During the phase from New Moon to Full Moon the illuminated area of moon increases in size everyday. It is called waxing of the moon(ചന്ദ്രന്റെ വൃദ്ധി).
During the phase between the Full Moon and the next New Moon the illuminated area of the moon becomes smaller. It is called waning of the moon (ചന്ദ്രന്റെ ക്ഷയം).
The Full moon day occurs 14 days after a New Moon day.
There are 28 days between one Full Moon day and next Full moon day.
