Today Akash sir came with a smiling smiley. Everybody is happy now.
Song

Happy we are happy
Neem tree is happy
Little birds are happy
The wind is happy
The clouds are happy!
Sing and enjoy the song.
Then sir shown the picture of page 58. The neem tree, mother sparrow, wind and cloud are there in the picture. Everybody is in a relief, cloud is smiling.
Passage (page. 58)
"Children, my children. Where are you?" Mother sparrow flew towards the neem tree.
"Kee... kee... kee... "
The mother sparrow heard the cry of little sparrows. She went to the nest and hugged her little ones.
"You saved my children. Thank you dear neem tree", the mother bird said.
No my dear, the clouds saved your children."
The mother sparrow looked at the smiling clouds.
"Not me.. the wind brought me here."
The cloud smiled and moved away.
Read the passage many times and study the spelling and meaning of words and sentences.
The neem tree and little sparrows escaped from a big danger. Friends saved them. The moral of the story is ' if we have good friends, we are out of danger'.

Which character do you like most in the story and why?
Vaiga told us she likes the neem tree very much. She has her own reasons. It helped the little sparrows, it gives shelter to the birds and it was loving and caring.

What happened to the forest after fire and rain?
Sir shown us a picture. There are elephant, deer, flowers, trees, creepers and a pond in the picture. Leaves grew up in plants and trees. Vines crept on trees. Pond filled with water. And our little birds grew very big.
