Strobilanthes Kunthiana(Neelakurinji)

Strobilanthes kunthiana, kurinji or neelakurinji, is a shrub that is found in the shola forests of the Western Ghats in South India. Nilgiri Hills, which literally means the blue mountains, got their 

name from the purplish blue flowers of Neelakurinji that blossoms only once in 12 years.

Rafflesia

It is the largest flower in the world. There are 28 varieties of Rafflesia. It is as large as an umbrella and weighs 10 kilograms. It has no stem,leaves or true root. The flower has five petals. It has the smell of rotten flesh. It found in Malasiya, Thailand, Indonasia, Phillipines
