Fibrous root system [നാരുവേര് പടലം ]

The fibrous root system includes a cluster of similar roots growing from the base of the stem. കാണ്ഡത്തിന്റെ ചുവട്ടിൽ നിന്നുവളരുന്ന ഒരേപോലെയുള്ള ധാരാളം വേരുകൾ ചേർന്ന വേരുപടലമാണ് നാരുവേര് പടലം.

It has no main root. Large number of roots grow from the base of the stem and they are fibre like and looks similar. They do not grow deep into the soil. The roots grow far and wide in the upper soil. It is easy to uproot the plants.
ഒരു പ്രധാന വേര് കാണപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. എല്ലാ വേരുകളും ഒരേപോലെയാണ്. എല്ലാവേരുകളും കാണ്ഡത്തിന്റെ ചുവട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു. നാരുവേരുപടലം മണ്ണിൽ കൂടുതൽ ആഴത്തിൽ വളരുന്നില്ല. മേൽമണ്ണിനോട് ചേർന്ന് വേരുകൾ ചുറ്റുപാടും വളരുന്നു. ഇത്തരം സസ്യങ്ങൾ മണ്ണിൽനിന്നും വേർപെടുത്തി എടുക്കാൻ എളുപ്പമാണ്.
