The teacher asks the children to
# Read the poem once or twice individually.
# Let the learners find the meaning of difficult words and the theme.
# Let them interpret the poem in their own way

Teacher asks interactions questions like
* What is the poem about?
* Can you consider books as your friends? Why?
* Which is your favourite book?
* Who is your favourite character?

* Let them sit in groups and share their ideas of the poem.
* Let the groups recite the poem (choral singing).
* Teacher plays audio of the poem or recites it.

Teacher discusses the questions from ‘Let’s explore’ in the class. Ask the learners to find the answers and randomly present it.

Activity - 01
Learners individually attempt to write the answer and discuss in group. Activity - 02
Learners individually attempt the activity and share the ideas in group. DRAW THE PICTURE
Grasp the central idea or message of the poem.
Learners draw pictures of their choice in connection to the theme of the poem.
